Following Tefilah and an abbreviated Torah Study, Eliza Kanner, Senior Development Officer at Combined Jewish Philanthropies, will join us for lunch to discuss her experience in Israel a month following Hamas' attacks and the role we all play in the U.S. During Eliza's presentation, Their Fight is Our Fight, she will also discuss her work with the Kraft foundation and battling antisemitism in the sports industry. 

Eliza has worked extensively to fight antisemitism and counter anti-Israel rhetoric, primarily on college campuses across North America. A graduate of the University of Connecticut, she became active in Israel education and advocacy while on campus, and after graduation she worked for StandWithUs as a campus educator. Eliza is a three-season veteran New England Patriots Cheerleader and is proud to use her platform to elevate Mr. Robert Kraft's Stand Up to Jewish Hate initiative, in an effort to fight antisemitism on-and-off the field. Eliza traveled to Israel just one month following the atrocities of October 7th with the World Jewish Congress Changemakers Delegation, comprised of 14 young leaders representing eight countries, to share the stories and experiences on the ground. Eliza's passion is advocating for young people to be proud of their Jewish identity.
