Together with the Israel Action Committee, join us and learn about the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) programs that are making this part of Israeli society accessible to as many citizens as possible. Our speaker Beth Cherner, Executive Vice President of the JNF’s Illinois office, will discuss the Special in Uniform program, which integrates youth with disabilities into the IDF, and helps prepare them for future careers. To accompany our speaker, there will be two inspiring videos showcasing both Special in Uniform and Roim Rachok, another wonderful IDF program, in which autistic young adults provide valuable service to the Israeli defense effort.
