ADL ENGAGE Empowered Women: The 21st-Century Fight Against Misogyny

Join us for a panel discussion about confronting misogyny and gender bias in our everyday lives, and how hatred of women informs the casual, pervasive misogyny espoused by some of America’s most visible hate groups. The evening will include a conversation about tangible measures we can all take to address bias against women – in our own lives and in the world around us. The speakers will include: ADL's Editorial Director for the Center on Extremism, Jessica Reaves, to speak on misogyny as a tool of modern white supremacy Executive Staff from the YWCA Metro Chicago & YWCA Evanston/North Shore to discuss gender bias and its impact on economic development An Organizational Talent & Inclusion Leader to highlight the strategies that address gender bias and create an inclusive culture, as well as increase gender equality in the workplace.
