Virtual Lounge: Helping Your Kids with Different Learning Needs During COVID

Wednesday, May 27, 2020 4 Sivan 5780

8:00 PM - 10:00 PMhttps://zoom.us/j/836075260

If your child has different learning needs the past couple of weeks might have been extra stressful. As we transition from e-learning to a summer without camps to the unknown in the fall, we can all use some tips and tricks. Join Dr. Chris Tullis, Associate Professor of Special Education and Educational Psychology, to learn some best practices for working with your kids during COVID. After Dr. Tullis' presentation he will open the session up for questions.

Chris Tullis is an Associate Professor of Special Education and Educational Psychology, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D). He's worked in special education and applied behavior analysis for 17 years, and his current focus is on teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder communication skills. He's published some articles, gotten some grants, but that really doesn't matter much to real people. What does matter is that he's really passionate about helping you and your kids have more fulfilling relationships, smoother days full of learning, and generally helping kids become their best selves.
